Not correct driver message

Hi guys,
Running Beta 2 vista and I have Realtek AC97 audio built onto the mboard. Downloaded the Realtek AC97 vista driver from Realtek and installed. Did the reboot and everything seems to work. Can change volumn and listen to audio files just fine. Only problem is when I open the control panel I get a message saying that my audio driver is not designed for Vista. I get this message each time I open the control panel. Are any others getting this problem?
Note: Using latest driver from Realtek's website.

Hmm.. make sure you report this to the manufacturers - can you change the settings though, or does it block you out?

I'm having no problems. After Vista's initial setup, I had no sound and an unknown multimedia device in Device Manager. It that device's Properties box, on the Driver tab, I clicked Update. I then allowed Vista to search for one. After a while, it found one and installed it automagically. AC97 sound has been working perfectly. So, my suggestion is to roll back the driver and then let Vista "search" for a driver. Let us know how you do.

I'm using driver version 5.10.0.5850 for realtek ac97 which was downloaded automaticaly by vista and it works well.

Roll it back to the driver that came with Vista, should be fine. Don't update it.
